Girlfriend Of Brittanee Drexel’s Killer To Formally Plead Guilty To Lying

During an investigation, Vause lied about some of the events leading up to the murder.

The girlfriend of Brittanee Drexel’s killer is set to formally plead guilty to lying Monday afternoon.

56-year-old Angel Vause is set to admit to two counts of making a false statement to a federal agent. The maximum sentence for the charges is 10-years in prison, a $500,000 fine and six years of supervised release.

The plea comes after Drexel disappeared from Myrtle Beach in 2009. In May of 2023, Raymond Moody confessed to killing the young girl.

Vause was there the day Drexel went missing and during an investigation lied about some of the events leading up to the murder.
