John Connor is a metal detection specialist who recently went diving at Shark Wake Park with intentions to find his friend’s sunglasses but ended up finding his most rewarding discovery yet.
After pulling items he found from the water, he noticed an inscription on an aluminum bracelet that included the name Gary Walker.
Connor discovered Walker was a New Jersey police officer who died in 2020 after battling COVID-19. His wife lost the bracelet three years ago and never thought she’d see it again.
Fortunately, after Connor found it, he was able to return it.
