Coastal Carolina Names Kevin Schnall As New Head Baseball Coach

Schnall said he is deeply grateful for the opportunity. He explained he couldn't be more excited to lead the program for his Alma Mater.

Coastal Carolina University has appointed its first new baseball coach in nearly three decades.

Associate Head Coach Kevin Schnall will take over for the Chanticleers after Gary Gilmore retired after 29 years of leading the team.

Schnall was a catcher for the Chants from 1995-1999. He was inducted into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. Schnall also served as an assistant at Coastal from 2001-2012 before returning in 2016.
