President Biden Says He Will Not Pardon His Son If Hunter Is Found Guilty

This marks the first time in U.S. history that the child of a sitting president has been on trial.

Joe Biden has commented on his son’s ongoing criminal trial.

The president has previously voiced support for Hunter Biden saying, “I am the president, but I am also a dad. Jill andI love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today.”

However, Biden has confirmed he would rule out pardoning Hunter and that he plans to accept the outcome of the trial.

Hunter is accused of illegally purchasing and possessing a gun while abusing or being addicted to drugs, which is a violation of federal law. He pleaded not guilty to the three charges he faces.
