One Person Shot At Same Residence That Caught Fire In The Longs Area

Around 4am, Horry County police responded to a residence on Timothy Drive on reports of a shooting.

One person was injured in a shooting in the Longs area on Tuesday morning.

Around 4am, Horry County police responded to a residence on Timothy Drive on reports of a shooting along with Horry County Fire Rescue for a fire at that same home.

Fire crews were able to get the flames under control.

The victim was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest and wrist. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Two structures and a vehicle were also struck by bullets.
