Two men were arrested after a brief chase in Marlboro County.

The investigation led to an arrest warrant for 53-year-old Jack Lewis.

It was discovered that the suspect was traveling toward the Wallace area with another male.

Lewis was riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Jeff Grant.

Police attempted to pull the suspect car over but grant failed to stop.

The short chase ended along Phil Creek Road where Grant was arrested for failure to stop for blue lights.

Lewis was detained on three counts of obtaining goods under false pretenses and three counts of identity theft.
