Jeep Reveals First Fully Electric SUV For The U.S. Market

Jeep has revealed its first fully electric SUV for the U.S. market.

The Wagoneer S will produce up to 600 horsepower from two electric motors and will be able to accelerate to 60 miles-an-hour in just 3.4 seconds.

The SUV will also be able to drive over 300 miles on a fully charged battery before needing to recharge. It will be available for $25,000.

Stellantis currently offers an all-electric version of its Avenger SUV in Europe, but the vehicle is not sold in the U.S.. Therefor, the Wagoneer S will be a test for Jeep customers in North America to survey their interest in electric vehicles.

The new SUV is part of Stellantis’s flexible strategy toward developing and building EVs.
