Savannah Gankiewicz To Take Over Miss USA Title After Former Resigns
The first-runner up will hold the title for the remainder of the pageant’s term which ends in August.
The new Miss USA has been crowned more than a week after the previous title holder resigned from the position.
Former Miss USA Noelia Voigt stepped aside on May 6 citing her mental health.
Now, Savannah Gankiewicz has been tapped to fill the position.
The Hawaii native was the first-runner up in last year’s pageant. She is a model who leads a female empowerment non-profit, and will hold the title for the remainder of the pageant’s term which ends in August.
