Storms Continue To Ravage Across The South And Central U.S.
In North Carolina, a state of emergency was declared Wednesday night for Gaston County after a storm downed power lines and trees leaving one person dead.
Storms continue to rage over parts of the south and central U.S. Thursday after severe weather has left at least three people dead since Monday.
One storm Wednesday in northeastern Tennessee damaged homes, injured several people and left one man dead. A second person was killed in Columbia, Tennessee.

The storms also brought large hail across the region.
Over a quarter-million customers are without power as of Thursday.
Many areas are experiencing flash flooding as homes and businesses have been impacted.
The National Weather Service issued tornado watches Thursday for parts of North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and several other states.
