Robeson Police Release Details Regarding Mica Miller’s Death Investigation
Around 3pm, Miller called 911 and asked if her phone could be located before threatening suicide. She hung up before further information could be gathered by dispatch.
New details have been released in the death investigation of 30-year-old Mica Miller.
Miller died on April 27 at Lumber River State Park. Her death was ruled a suicide.
Surveillance footage assisted police in the investigation.
Miller is seen leaving her residence shortly after 11am. She is spotted a little after noon walking into Dick’s Pawn Shop in Myrtle Beach where she purchased a weapon. Afterward, her vehicle was captured two separate times once near Conway and again in Mullins.
Around 3pm, Miller called 911 and asked if her phone could be located before threatening suicide. She hung up before further information could be gathered by dispatch.
Deputies then reported to the area from which she called and conducted a search. Her body was found in the water as well as a firearm.
Miller’s husband Pastor John-Paul Miller was leaving Charleston the day of her death. This was proven through eyewitnesses and license plate readers.
