Crash In Robeson Co. Results In Death Of Two People Leaving One Injured

A crash in Robeson County resulted in the death of two people and left one person injured.
The crash occurred around 9:40am Monday on Highway 41 near Tarheel Road.
A Kia was traveling eastbound on the highway while a GMC pick-up truck was heading westbound.
The Kia reportedly attempted to pass traffic when it collided with the GMC head-on.
The driver and front seat passenger of the Kia were both pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as Dylan and Dalton Burnett of Elizabethtown.
The rear passenger of the Kia was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the GMC sustained minor injuries.
