One Man Arrested After Allegedly Stealing A Vehicle And Robbing A Store

While investigating the Dollar General incident, another call came in for an incident at a home on Hickory Road.

One man was arrested after he allegedly stole a car and threatened people with a firearm.

Marlboro County police were dispatched around 8:30pm Thursday night for a stolen vehicle call when they received another call for service at a Dollar General in Wallace.

When officers arrived at the store they were informed that a man entered and began pointing a gun and threatening to kill a customer before he fled.

While investigating the Dollar General incident, another call came in for an incident at a home on Hickory Road.

It was revealed that 31-year-old Donavan Pooler allegedly stole a family members car, drove to Dollar General, took things from the store, then returned to the home where he was confronted by family members.

During an argument he threatened to shoot several people and fired off multiple shots but no one was injured.

Pooler is charged with robbery, grand larceny, first-degree assault, attempted murder and more.
