President Biden Signs Aid Package Into Law After Passing Through Congress
The $95 billion package provides foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel as well as U.S. allies in the Indo-Pacific.
The Senate passed a bill Tuesday after months of discussions.
The House passed the $95 billion package last week that provides foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel as well as U.S. allies in the Indo-Pacific. The bill also includes humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza.
In addition, the bill includes raising U.S. security measures and the threat of a nationwide ban on TikTok which gives Chinese owners, ByteDance, nine months to sell the app or face consequences.
The Senate has now passed the large package in a 79-18 vote.
President Biden officially signed it into law Wednesday.
