Vester McDaniels

(July 5, 1915 – October 17, 2010) Mullins- Mr. Vester Mc Daniels, 95, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a son of the late Daniel Oscar and Les Scott McDaniels. He was predeceased by his wife Effie Lupo McDaniels and a daughter Carolyn McDaniels. Mr. McDaniels is survived by two sons, Billy and Barry (Cindy) McDaniels both of Marion; one daughter, Dana (John) Calhoun of Galivants Ferry; two sisters, Minnie Dimmery and Chris Hardwick, both of Mullins; four grandchildren, Bill McDaniels, Kevin (Nicki) McDaniels, Phillip McDaniels and a step-grandchild Ryan Sawyer; and three great-grandchildren Garrett, Marshall , and Josh McDaniels. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meares Funeral Home of Mullins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Devotion Gardens.
