8.2 Million Laundry Pods Recalled Do To Defective Storage Bags
The recall covers four brands including Tide, Gain, Ace and Ariel.
Procter and Gamble has recalled 8.2 million potentially defective laundry pods.
The recall covers four brands including Tide, Gain, Ace and Ariel.
The brands have sold detergent in thin, flexible, film bags that can easily be split. There has been a reported issue with some outer packaging splitting near the zipper track, which would make the contents more accessible to children.
If a laundry pod were to be ingested, it could cause significant injury and even death.
Consumers with recalled bags should contact Procter and Gamble for a full refund. Along with the amount of purchase, consumers will receive a child resistant bag to store the products in. They will also receive a cabinet lock for securing laundry materials.
