Jimmy Wayne Flowers

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Born on February 4, 1953 in Chesterfield County. He was the son of Rowland and Louise Flowers. Jimmy worked as a carpenter. He loved to joke around with family and friends, to fish, and being outdoors. Most of all he loved to spoil his daughter. Surviving are his daughter, Rachel Marie Godbold Flowers (his heart), two step daughters, Allison Charity Godbold Gainey and Danah Alisha Godbold (DD English); their mother, Nita Godbold; his son, Richard Flowers; his grandchildren, Damion Len Gainey (Jimmys Boo-Boo) and Tatum Flowers; his brother, Jack Jackson; his sisters, Mildred Jackson, Linda Jackson and Shirley Jackson; his aunt, Ellene (Jolly) Gainey; his cousins, Darlene (Richard) Gates, Chris Kelly, Brad Kelly, John Gates, Sharon (Roger) Gunther and Tim Walton. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Rowland and Louise Flowers; his birth mother, Lois Jackson; and his sisters, Jenett Jackson and Vickey Jackson
