DCC Metal Recycling is expanding into Dillon County.

The new 48-acre site will be located at 1324 Smith Street in Dillon.

The company purchases, shreds and recycles scrap metals.

DCC Metal Recycling’s $11 million investment is expected to bring 78 new jobs to the area.

Operations are set to start at the beginning of next year.

This will be the company’s seventh South Carolina operation.
