President Biden And Donald Trump Visit Southern Border The Same Day

The border has become a critical issue for candidates to speak on amid record levels of migrant arrivals.

Former President Trump and President Biden both visited the U.S.-mexico border Thursday.

President Biden made in an appearance in Brownsville, Texas. He called on Congress to pass the bipartisan border security bill negotiated in the Senate. The measure was agreed upon before Republicans rejected it after Trump strongly opposed it. He addressed Trump directly stating they can work together to get things done.

Meanwhile, Trump was in Eagle Pass, Texas. He placed the blame on Biden for ongoing criminal crimes committed by migrants in the U.S., saying, “The U.S. is being overrun by the Biden migrant crime.”
