Charles Duke “Bo” Creel
Charles Duke “Bo” Creel, 52, went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening, October 7, 2010 at MUSC in Charleston. Mr. Creel was born a son of Simon Boyd Creel and Ruby Lee Douglas Creel, July 6, 1958, in Hemingway. He was a 1975 graduate of Hemingway High School; a retired auto technician for Ford Motor Company; and of the Pentecostal faith. He leaves behind two children, Dallas Creel and T.J. Creel; one brother, Don Creel; four sisters, Susie Morgan, Margaret (Ron) Zirges, Peggy (Nelson) Warr, and Clara (Carl) Gainey; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and four brothers, James Alvin Creel, Joseph “Bunk” Creel, Cecil Creel, and Luke Creel. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010, at the New Hope Fellowship with interment in the Lake Chapel Cemetery directed by the McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening, October 9, 2010, in the sanctuary of the New Hope Fellowship. McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Creel family.
