One Arrested In Connection To Fatal Shooting Of UNCP Former Student
An investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Kendell Brown. He is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm on educational property.
Police have made an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting that occurred at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke last week.
Just before 5pm on Tuesday, 19-year-old Khalil Alford was shot and killed near UNCP’s campus. He was a former student of the school.
An investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Kendell Brown. He is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm on educational property.
Brown was issued a $125,000 secured bond. He was not a student of UNCP.
Details are limited as an investigation is still underway.
