Super Bowl LVIII Breaks Viewership Record
Not only was the game the most-watched Super Bowl ever, it is now the second most-watched TV program in history.
Super Bowl LVIII broke a record.
Sunday’s game had an audience of 123.4 million viewers across CBS, Nickelodeon, Univision, and digital platforms including NFL+. That’s up 7% from last year’s record-breaking audience of 115.1 million on Fox.
CBS led the way with 120 million viewers alone, marking the largest audience in history for a single network.
Over 200 million viewers tuned in for at least part of the game overall. That’s up 10% from last year’s 184 million.
Not only was the game the most-watched Super Bowl ever, it is now the second most-watched TV program in history.
The first place is still the 1969 Apollo 11 Moon Landing after an estimated 125 to 150 million viewers watched as it aired across multiple networks.
