One Died And One Suffered Serious Injuries After A Motorcycle Crashed

Investigators discovered the motorcycle was traveling at high speeds when it ran off the road on the right, traveled for a short distance before overturning and ejecting both the driver and the passenger.

One person died and one is in critical condition after a motorcycle crashed on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred along Moss Neck Road near Beam Road in Robeson County.

Investigators discovered the motorcycle was traveling at high speeds when it ran off the road on the right, traveled for a short distance before overturning and ejecting both the driver and the passenger.

Both travelers were wearing DOT approved helmets.

The driver died and has been identified as 44-year-old Joseph Leroy. The 32-year-old passenger was airlifted to a hospital for serious injuries.
