Peter Meisel

Peter Meisel of Pinehurst passed to his eternal home on Tuesday, October 5th. After a short but severe fight with cancer, Peter fell asleep peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife, Michaela, close friends, and his precious doggie Toby. Born in Berlin, Germany, to the late Will Meisel and Elisa Illiard on June 22, 1935, Peter worked successfully in the music industry as publisher and producer on two continents, Europe and United States. In the early 1980s, he established residency in Colorado, making the golf courses his second home. He became a resident of Moore County in 2001 where he has enjoyed his life to the fullest. Peter is survived by his wife of 9 years, Michaela and his brother Thomas Meisel of Berlin , and would be remembered for his tenderness and great love for nature. A Life Well-Lived Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, 3:00 pm, at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moore Humane Society, P.O.
