Shooting Investigation Underway In Marlboro County

The victim was struck and taken by a personal vehicle to a hospital where he was treated for injuries.

An investigation is currently underway after one person was injured in a Marlboro County shooting.

The incident occurred in the early hours on Sunday morning in the 100 block of Karen Circle in Bennettsville.

Deputies said the suspect used a rifle to shoot several rounds into a vehicle that the victim was occupying.

The victim was struck and taken by a personal vehicle to a hospital where he was treated for injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
