Apple Reveals A New Feature Through IOS 17.3 Update
Through the new feature, if someone steals your device, you can lock them out of the system by enforcing Face ID or Touch ID access.
Apple has released IOS 17.3 and iPad OS to users.
The update has a new feature called Stolen Device Protection. The tool is not used to locate a stolen iPhone or iPad, but rather to keep thieves from accessing users personal data.
Through the new feature, if someone steals your device, you can lock them out of the system by enforcing Face ID or Touch ID access.
The software also automatically mandates a one-hour security delay before changing the passcode if the phone or tablet is recognized as being in an unfamiliar location.
The new update is only available for iPhone XS or later devices.
