Flora Evelyn Perrin Liddell
Flora Evelyn Perrin Liddell, the daughter of Will and Lois Cowan Perrin, was born on November 24, 1945 in McCormick, South Carolina. Evelyn departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina. She attended the public schools in McCormick, SC and Detroit, MI. She relocated to Detroit for most of her adult life but returned to McCormick to live where she was an Administrative Assistant for the South Carolina Department of Corrections. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted daughter, Tameika (Victor) Coachman of Florence, SC; a loving son, Russell Lord of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren, Heidi Coachman, Crystal Coachman, Victor Coachman, Taqwann Fulton, Torian “Big Man” Coachman and Victoria “Princess” Coachman; three brothers, James Perrin and Charles Perrin both of Detroit, MI; George (Jeanette) Holloway of McCormick, SC; five sisters, Lucille Perrin of Anderson, SC; Virginia Johnson and Lois Bennett of McCormick, SC; Nellie Burwell (Ronald) of Washington DC; and Louise Franklin of Pittsburg, PA; a special niece, Aleicia “My Lisa” O’Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. All who knew and loved her will truly miss this woman of great strength. Her home was often the gathering place for family and friends where she cooked thousands of meals and celebrated life as often as possible.
