Biden To Urge Mexican Leaders To Address Border Migrant Surge

President Biden is planning to place Mexico leaders under pressure as the migrant surge on the U.S. southern border has significantly increased.
The president spoke with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador Thursday morning as the U.S. seeks additional assistance to drive down the number of migrants arriving at the US-Mexico border.

Biden plans to send Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and White House Homeland Security Adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall to Mexico in the coming days to discuss further actions with Mexican officials.
