Two Teens Identified As Fatal Crash Victims

A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck ran through a stop sign at a high rate of speed and collided with a Ford Flex SUV.

Details regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Florence have been released.

The incident happened around 9p.m. on Saturday.

A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck ran through a stop sign at a high rate of speed and collided with a Ford Flex SUV. After the collision, the truck crashed into a utility pole and flipped onto its roof.

The occupants of the truck were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 14-year-old Tylik Charles and 16-year-old Ameria Grant. It was later revealed the truck was stolen.

The occupants of the SUV were taken to a hospital but their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

An investigation is still underway.
