What’s the first thing you think of when hearing the word self care?  Forget once a month bubble baths. new data shows more are seeing it as daily acts.  Some wait until they hit a wall or get sick to do things for themselves like taking a long bath, or a long walk.  In fact, a study by a wellness company found that a quarter of us some do that for various reasons or belief systems.  But here’s what they say about that:  self care is not so much about a treat, it’s more about doing everyday things like staying hydrated, getting sunlight, exercise, good sleep and purposely setting your thought for a positive mindset.  Doing those things will help prevent burn out and health issues.  Overall, the study shows 36% are making the shift to do that, to make these things part of their lifestyle versus a once a month treat.
