McDonald's will be getting rid of their self-serve drink stations and transiting to a system where the employees will fill all cups.   

Are self-serve drink stations becoming to a slow fade?   McDonald’s will be getting rid of their self-serve drink stations and transiting to a system where the employees will fill all cups.   Restaurants are seeing more people ordering for pick-up or delivery through apps so employees are already fill the cups as they do for drive-thru orders.  They aren’t taking away free refills but they do think this system will cut back on theft, and be a more hygienic option,   The change won’t happen overnight but over the next 10 years.  So enjoy the fountains while you can, and if you haven’t already, show your kid how to make a hurricane, a graveyard, or any concoction of flavors you created in your childhood.
