‘Doodle For Google’ South Carolina State Winner
The piece with the most votes will be the new design displayed for a whole day as the tech company's iconic logo.
Google has announced the winner who will represent South Carolina in its annual ‘Doodle for Google’ contest.
Haniyah Robinson is a student of Hillcrest Middle School in Sumter. Her art piece dubbed ‘The Second Wonders of the World’ was entered into the 8th to 9th grade group and shows different animals forming the Google logo.
Robinson’s piece along with 53 other state and territory winners, will be reviewed by four judges.
A national vote will determine one of five national finalists, and one overall winner.
The piece with the most votes will be the new design displayed for a whole day as the tech company’s iconic logo.
The winner will also be granted a $30 thousand college scholarship while their school will receive a $50 thousand tech grant.
