5 Things to Look Forward to in May

The Kentucky Derby and the Coronation of King Charles are both this Saturday.

Things to look forward to in May.  The Coronation of King Charles is coming up this Saturday.  He’s been king since Queen Elizabeth passed away in September, but it’s the official crowning ceremony.   In sports:  The NBA and NHL playoffs are happening all month.  The Kentucky Derby is this Saturday.  The PGA Championship starts May 18th.  The French Open starts on the 22nd.  And the Indy 500 is May 28th.  The Darling Xfinity and NASCAR Cup Series is May 13-14 in Darlington!  And holidays… Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day.   There is also “Star Wars” Day on May the 4th  and National Eat What You Want Day on the 11th!

If you’re headed to Darlington for the races, look for driver Parker Kligerman at the Xfinity race on Saturday.  Kligerman drives the #48 Chevrolet for Big Machine Racing.  Lowe’s is a major sponsor and on a much smaller scale, so is WFXB!
