SCOTUS Decides To Allow Broad Access To Mifepristone For Now

The case is now set to be heard in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and oral arguments will be conducted on May 17th.

The Supreme Court has officially made a decision in regards to the access of an abortion pill.

The FDA’s approval of the drug Mifepristone, which is a drug capable of terminating a pregnancy, makes it easier to access.

The National legal battle over the drug began with a lawsuit filed by a team of doctors who oppose abortion.

After deliberations, the Supreme Court ordered that Mifepristone will remain broadly available as litigation plays out in a lower court.

The case is now set to be heard in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and oral arguments will be conducted on May 17th.
