New Dates Set For The Smoke On The Beach Festival

The event will include live music on the main stage, food trucks and venders, a car show, competitions, along with many activities for children.

New dates have been announced for the annual Smoke on the Beach BBQ festival after being forced to postpone.

Now, the event will take place May 19th and 20th at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion Park.

The festival is free to attend and includes an ‘Anything Butt Competition’ on Friday from 3-10p.m., and a ‘BBQ Competition’ on Saturday from 10a.m.-6p.m.

Multiple prizes will be awarded for each category for first, second, and third place.

The event will also include live music on the main stage, food trucks and venders, a car show, along with many activities for children.

The cost for each team to enter the competition is $200 with a $25 refundable clean-up fee after approved inspection. Entries are limited to 50 teams.

Vendor applications are $125 per space.

All proceeds from the festival will benefit the Myrtle Beach Shrine Club.
