QR Code To Soon Reveal Past And Present Gradings Of Eateries In S.C.
Customers will soon be able to scan the code using a phone and will then be directed to the establishment's S.C. food grade history.
New access will soon be available for customers at South Carolina restaurants and other stores that sell food.
DHEC is adding a new option for those who are curious to know current and past ratings for where they’re eating.
The department announced that previous inspection results will now be added as a QR code on the current grade sticker on each qualifying establishment.

The QR code is expected to be added to the letter grade sign within a year.
