Two Military Helicopters Crashed Killing Nine Soldiers

Details of the accident are limited to the public at this time but officials have opened an investigation.

Two helicopters with the 101st Airborne Division crashed in Southwestern Kentucky and several casualties have been confirmed.

The two HH20 Blackhawk Aircrafts crashed around 10p.m. Wednesday night in Trigg County near the Tennessee border.

Nine soldiers were killed during the routine training mission through Fort Campbell.

No residential areas were affected as a result of the incident.
