New Universal Theme Park
The Universal Parks and Resorts theme park will be the first of its kind.
A new theme park is expected to open near the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Universal Parks and Resorts theme park will be the first of its kind. The unit of NBC Universal plans to bring a family focused resort to Frisco on 97-acres East of the Dallas North Tollway and North of Panther Creek Parkway.
The park will feature family-friendly rides, character meet-and-greets, as well as food and merchandise options. Guests will get to meet characters from a range of Universal shows and movies such as “Shrek” and “Despicable Me.”
The city of Frisco was chosen to host the new park concept based on it’s ability to attract new businesses and its growing population.
More details regarding the new amenity will be revealed over time.
