Two-Vehicle Crash Involving A Motorcycle Resulted In One Death

Lanes of the highway were closed for an extended period of time and have since reopened.

On Tuesday night a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle resulted in one death.

Police responded to the scene around 5:30p.m. On Highway 90 and Pint Circle in Longs.

The motorcycle was traveling Westbound on Highway 90 when an Eastbound car tried to turn onto Pint Circle and the two vehicles collided in a head on collision.

The rider of the motorcycle was transported to a Grand Strand hospital and later died.

Lanes of the highway were closed for an extended period of time and have since reopened.
