Elon Musk Created Twitter Poll To Decide His Future

Musk Tweeted a poll promising to follow through on whatever the platform users voted.

Elon Musk could be stepping down as the head of Twitter shortly after being appointed.

On Sunday, Musk Tweeted a poll promising to follow through on whatever the platform users voted.

The Tweet read, “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.” The poll then had a “yes” and “no” option for users to click and submit their vote.

Over 17.5 million votes were cast. The poll showed 57.5% favored the idea of Musk stepping down as 42.5% of voters were against the move.

The poll has closed as Musk has not yet commented on the results but simply Tweeted late Sunday night “the saying goes, becareful what you wish, as you might get it.”
