Suspect Arrested In Connection To Deceased Body Found In A Vehicle

Officials located a vehicle reported as suspicious and found the body of a deceased man inside.

We now know the name of the suspect arrested for the incident involving a dead body discovered inside a vehicle in the Pee Dee earlier this month.

On November 2nd, deputies with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of East Main Street Extension near White Oak Lane in Bennettsville.

There had been reports about a suspicious vehicle on the shoulder of the road. Officials located the vehicle and found the body of a deceased man inside. He was identified as 27-year-old, Willie Quick of Bennettsville.

The discovery led to a homicide investigation and an arrest of 32-year-old, Tramayne Quick also of Bennettsville. He is charged with the murder of Quick as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Though the two share the same last name, they have not been confirmed to be related.

Tramayne was booked into the Marlboro County Detention Center.
