Firefighters Responded To Multiple Fires Along Highway 301

The South Carolina Forestry Commission was called to the scene to put firebreaks around the flames.

Sunday evening, the Marion Rural Fire Department took on multiple roadside fires.

Crews from station 20 as well as 40 responded to fires beside Highway 301. The road was shut down for the safety of the crew members while they tackled the task of putting the fires out.
