The Man Who Murdered Brittanee Drexel Is Sentenced To Life In Prison

The man pleaded guilty to the murder, kidnapping, and rape of Drexel.

The man who is accused of kidnapping and killing 17-year-old, Brittanee Drexel, appeared in court for the first time yesterday.

62-year-old, Raymond Moody, pleaded guilty to the murder, kidnapping, and rape of Drexel.

Moody said quote “I was a monster then and I was a monster when I took Drexel’s life. I don’t have words to express how horrible I feel, I’m very sorry.”

Moody will leave the Georgetown County Detention Center for Reception and Evaluation in Columbia where he will serve life in prison.
