FIFA Is Requesting To Ban Iran From The World Cup

FIFA recently sent a letter requesting to ban Iran from the World Cup.

22-year-old, Masha Amini, died after she was detained by Iran’s mortality police for wearing her hijab improperly. In reaction to the incident, protests in Iran have been ongoing and the country is battling its own people.

FIFA recently sent a letter on behalf of a group of former and current Iranian sports figures requesting football’s governing body to suspend the Iranian Football Federation and ban it from taking part at this year’s world cup.

The letter stated that Iran’s brutality towards its own people has reached a tipping point and demonstrates lack of equality, as well as disassociation from the sports world.
