Federal Judge Grants Trumps Request for ‘Special Master’

Yesterday a Federal Judge granted Former President Trump’s request for a ‘special master’ to review evidence seized during the Mar-a-Lago raid. The ruling will temporarily prevent the Justice Department’s investigative team from accessing the documents taken from Mar-a-Lago and also clear the way for a third-party attorney to review all seized materials not just the documents covered by attorney client privilege but also for potential executive privilege concerns which was a move that was previously thought of as ‘unprecedented’ from the Justice Department.
