No matter how aware tech savvy you are, there are online scams out there just waiting to trip you up.  The FTC received more than 2 million reports in one year.  Many are tricked when they open something that appears to be coming from companies and businesses you trust. In fact, that’s the biggest mistake. Cybersecurity expert says the #1 bit of advice is not to click on anything.  The links could come in texts, emails or even while you are innocently browsing from your computer.   Instead of clicking to get the urgent message, simply call the business using the number you always call.
