Monkeypox Cases Continue to Rise in the United States

The number of Monkeypox cases in the United States continues to grow. According to the latest data reported by the CDC, there are 13,517 total confirmed Monkeypox cases. 188 of those come from North Carolina and 73 cases come from South Carolina. The states with the most cases of the outbreak are New York with 2,675 and California with 2,356. According to CDC guidance, Monkeypox can ‘spread to anyone’ through close contact which is often skin-to-skin as well as intimate contact.
