Millions Under Warnings, Alerts Throughout the United States

Extreme weather is expected across the United States today as multiple watches and alerts have been issued. A flood watch is in effect from Arizona to Wisconsin which covers over 7 million people. That watch was issued yesterday and will remain in effect into tomorrow and includes areas of Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Heavy rain is also expected near Texas. Excess heat watches are in place for 7 million people in California’s central valley which includes Redding, Sacramento, Fresno and Bakersfield where triple digits are expected through Thursday.
