Horry County Man Faces Weapons Charges After Shooting in Longs

A Horry County man is facing weapons charges after he called authorities early Monday morning to report that he had shot someone. During the incident, one person was killed and another was wounded on Ashmun Road near Longs. 46 year old Anthony Moody was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition and unlawful carrying of a pistol. Moody was taken to J. Reuben Long Detention Center, but has since been released after posting a $2,500 bond.
