Myrtle Beach Safari Owner Doc Antle Facing Additional Charges
Myrtle Beach Safari owner Doc Antle appeared before a federal judge yesterday. Antle is being charged in a federal complaint with money laundering crimes involving more than $500,000. Antle, his employee Andrew Sawyer and another individual, William Dallis were arrested by FBI agents two weeks ago. Antle was also recently indicted on two new felony charges in Virginia for illegally selling an endangered species. That indictment was filed last week and is on top of other animal cruelty and animal trafficking charges he’s already facing in the state. The judge overseeing the case hasn’t decided whether or not Antle will be granted bond but is taking arguments under consideration.
