CDC Adds Three New Destinations to High Risk Travel Category Including Mexico

The CDC has added three new destinations to it’s ‘high risk’ category for Covid-19. Those three places include New Caledonia, the United Arab Emirates and hitting close to home, Mexico. As of yesterday, there are almost 115 destinations listed as a ‘Level 3’ which accounts for almost half of the places monitored by the CDC. Previously a ‘Level 4’ was also used in rankings but that is now only reserved for special circumstances such as high case counts, emergence of a new variant of concern or health care infrastructure collapse.
